Terms of Use
Last updated 10 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Dahab Apartment, including browsing apartments, sending a contact note, creating an account, requesting a reservation, and staying in Dahab. By using this site you agree to them. They are written for the service as it works today.
Who we are
Dahab Apartment operates this website from Dahab, South Sinai, Egypt. Questions about these terms can be sent to reservations@dahabapartments.com or through the contact form on the site.
Using the site
You may browse public pages, request information, and — with an account — ask to book an apartment. You must provide accurate information and must not misuse the site, attempt to access private files, or interfere with other guests or staff.
Apartment pages, prices, house rules, and availability can change. A listing is an invitation to request a stay, not a confirmed booking.
Accounts
Guest accounts are created with a name, email, and password, or through Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for activity on your account.
We may suspend an account that is used in a way that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe is harmful to guests, hosts, or the house.
Reservation requests
A reservation request is not a confirmed stay. You choose dates, the number of guests, whether you are travelling with pets (where the apartment allows them), a phone number, and an optional note. The house team reviews the request and may confirm, ask for more information, or decline it.
Nothing is charged automatically when you send a request. A stay is confirmed only after the house team accepts it and any required down payment is recorded.
Payments and transfer proofs
When a down payment or remaining balance is requested, you pay by bank transfer to the account shown for that reservation. You then upload a photo or PDF of the transfer (JPG, PNG, WEBP, or PDF, up to 5 MB) so staff can match it to your stay.
We do not take card numbers on this website and we do not store payment-card data. A transfer proof is a record of your payment, not a card scan. Keep your own bank records as well.
The security deposit shown on an apartment is a hold and is handled separately from the stay total. House-specific fees and discounts appear on the quote before you send a request.
House rules
Each apartment lists its own house rules (for example quiet hours, smoking, or pets). Those rules form part of these terms for that stay. Staff may also share check-in instructions and local guidance before arrival.
Check-in and identification
Check-in is completed by staff. For each guest they record name, nationality, age, email, phone, and (if given) address, and they collect a government-issued photo ID or passport scan. This is required to complete check-in for the stay.
ID files are stored privately and are not published on the website. They are available only to authorised staff through the house systems.
Cancellation
You may cancel an unconfirmed reservation request from your account. Confirmed stays can be cancelled only by staff. A stay that has already been checked in must be checked out rather than cancelled.
Refunds of a recorded down payment or remaining balance, if any, are decided by the house team according to the timing of the cancellation and the apartment’s conditions. Ask reservations@dahabapartments.com if you need that confirmed in writing before you pay.
Emails and messages
If you give us an email address we may send transactional messages about your enquiry or stay — for example a request received, a down-payment request, confirmation, check-in or check-out, a stay extension, or a house announcement. You can ask us to stop non-essential messages at reservations@dahabapartments.com.
Liability
The site is provided so you can learn about the house and request a stay. We take care with listings and dates, but travel, sea conditions, and local services are outside our control. To the extent allowed by applicable law, Dahab Apartment is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes
We may update these terms when the service changes. The date at the top of this page is the current version. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
